Hello, I'm Amy Bhola!

Amy Bhola, MA in Education, district parent, experienced Governing Board member, dedicated school volunteer
I'm running for re-election on the Catalina Foothills School District Governing Board.
I've lived in this district for 24 years and both my children went to CFSD schools from kindergarten through graduation.
Public education is my passion and my profession. I hold both a BA and an MA in the field, and taught math and science for 11 years. My other professional experience involves working in the non-profit sector and running a successful small business.
I have also volunteered extensively with our schools, having served on the FFO, the Foundation board, various committees, and serving two terms on the Governing Board. As an incumbent Board member, I'm proud of the work we do in District 16. We have a long history of working collaboratively as a board to ensure a well-run district and we strive to put students and teachers first in every decision we make.
I humbly ask for your support as I work to continue CFSD's tradition of excellence.
My commitment to you
As an elected, non-partisan member of CFSD's Governing Board, I will work closely with my colleagues on the Board, the administration and teachers, and parents and community members to deliver on my commitment to you.
Attract and retain high-quality educators
Prioritize investing in and engaging with our teachers, understanding they have the most direct impact on student achievement
Advocate for our students
Learn, listen, and engage with the Arizona School Board Association and our CFSD community to provide the best education possible for our students
Secure more mental health support for our students and faculty
Engage our community to understand what additional support we need, and identifying specific ways to deliver that support

I'm proud of the many contributions I've made to our CFSD schools
Over the past 24 years, my willingness to step up and show up for our children, teachers, and community has made a substantive, positive difference.
